No Updates ~ Hummer Photos

Hi folks, I have no updates today on Boxer or Primo. I will call Bob tomorrow, I promise!
In the meantime, I have been photographing hummingbirds out my kitchen window, which is tough because they spend more time hiding in the tree than at the feeder. Name that hummer, anyone?

I have to say at 8:15am This morning, I was driving down 1900 south and at the bottom of the street on 200 west in Bountiful. I saw what I believe was boxer sue and mother playing in the sprinkler. It was amazing for me and felt like it was a sign of thanks for watching them. :D I love it. :D

Anyway, 1900 S and 200 W. In Bountiful. They were around that area. :D

Thank you so much for keeping us up-to-date on this year's falcon drama. Those pictures of Boxer Sue on Eagle Gate's window ledge are precious!

I'm not certain, but as for the top photo - you might have a young male black-chinned hummingbird there. The throat patch fills in over time with the males, and the female's throats generally stay white. The bottom photo could be an adult male black-chinned hummer, I think, as his throat is filled in with purplish-black feathers, but more likely it's a male rufous. They are more buff colored in the body, whilst black-chinned are more green generally. Hope this helps!
