Hi Liz, Do you update the Wildlife page about nest (egg) updates or does Bob do that? It would be good to up-to-date egg laying stats on a daily basis for a few days until all the eggs are laid. Most people won't go to your blog to get those updates. Thanks. John CHristofferson (Salt Lake City transplant now living in Las Vegas!)
Hi John, Bob's IT dept updates it, I believe. I agree its not as fast it could be. My blog or the Facebook page is faster.http://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/Salt-Lake-City-Peregrine-Falcons/221716737854753
You were watching too!! I think she laid this egg this morning. She has been carving out her nest for a few days now. , But this morning really early (around 6 ish I think she did her thing) You go girl!! Now our fun begins.
It's 5:06 p.m. and the egg has been left unattended for the past 10 minutes, at least. Both adults were in the nest with a recent kill, but then both left immediately after. Not sure why the egg is not being incubated...

Hi Cat, it's common for the first egg to be left alone at times. Not to worry too much, this happened last year too.
Good to know! Thanks for the warning :D
Yay!!
