THE FAMOUS Peregrine Falcons nest on the Joseph Smith Memorial Building has seen no activity since 2015. We will update if a new pair nests in the box.
Btw. do we know yet if it is the parents of last years babies or could it be one of the kids that have come back? Or how does that work? Do the kids ever come back or hang around where they grew up? Also, do we know if the box on the Church of Madeleine will get a camera and be "aired"?? (Sorry about all the questions...)
Trish, yes the cams are on! Lin,it is very likely the same pair as last year. We will try to do some comparisons from screen captures to see if we can tell. The kids don't usually come back to the nest they fledge from. I know nothing about the box on CoM but that is too close to our box for another pair to use it. What is very likely though is that our pair is feeding on all the lovely pigeons over there!
