Feeding Photos
One of my readers sent in some more photos, thank you Sloan! Love the third one of Dad hanging out on the ledge. You know it's killing him to be off the nest!
I think he is young and inexperienced. Seems like she doesn't trust him. Also, I think she treated the other male in a similar way but maybe not quite as obvious. Bob what do you think? Mary Anne?
Do we still believe the fourth egg will hatch, since we are three days past the 18th of May? I remember last year that at least one of the eggs didn't hatch.
I love that look on Dad's face, he looks so forlorn. < like "When is it going to be my turn"?. Nature is so wonderfully funny sometimes. Thats what keeps all of us coming back for more, right Liz?

Does anyone know why mom is so possessive of the eggs and chicks? Dad gets shooed out of there a lot.

I think we are past the window for the fourth egg to hatch now. And Willi, agreed. I'm really enjoying the new little father :)
